Singapore
Singapore is small, clean, and surprisingly affordable if you eat at hawker centres and skip the tourist traps. Four days, two people, one city that surprised us.
Singapore surprised us. We expected sterile and expensive. Instead: world-class street food at hawker prices, a flawless MRT system, and more to do than four days could cover.
Why Singapore
Visa-free for Bangladeshis (up to 30 days), excellent flight connections from Dhaka, and perfectly safe to navigate solo or as a couple. We used it as a stopover that quickly became a proper trip.

Tips
- EZ-Link card: Get one at the airport. Top up at any 7-Eleven. Covers all MRT and bus.
- Hawker centres: This is where you eat. SGD 3–6 per dish, some of the best food in the world.
- Free things: Gardens by the Bay Supertree walk, Merlion, Marina Bay waterfront, Chinatown.
- Skip: Most Sentosa beach clubs — overpriced. The cable car is worth it, the clubs aren't.
